TRAINING ON ISO/OHSAS 18 000 STANDARDS : HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Objective

Train participants on the basic requirements related to ISO / OHSAS 18 001. Develop the managers' skills and competencies required for the implementation of an effective management system for health and safety (OSH).

TRAINING CONTENT

  • Purpose of health and safety at work in businesses;
  • Objectives of ISO/OHSAS 18 000;
  • Elements of a health and safety management system;
  • Details and interpretation of requirements of ISO/OHSAS 18 001;
  • Implementation process of ISO/OHSAS 18 001;
  • Integration of ISO/OHSAS 18 001 to existing internal management systems;
  • Conclusion.

TARGET AUDIENCE       

General managers, managers, coordinators or health and safety manager, production department, human resources, quality-control representative, salesmen, buyers.

Manual of safety data sheets (Formerly MSDS); a matter of safety and compliance with legal requirements.

 

Understanding of hazard symbols and the enforcement of safety standards are effective tools to prevent workplace accidents.

Length

OBJECTIVE

Provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to prepare and conduct internal audits on the health and safety management system.
